The Geshmak platform operates based on a revenue-sharing model. While we require that the HOST handle all alcohol sales per the arrangement, 10% of the total bar revenue is shared with you, the GUEST! So, the more patrons you attract for your nights or events, the more additional money you’ll earn from what they spend on drinks.
NOTE: Alcohol sales are processed through our own POS (point of sales) devices that we provide to the HOST, separate from those issued to the GUEST. Geshmak’s business model is intended for ‘recurring pop-ups’ (as opposed to ‘1-offs’). The goal is to keep these relationships working harmoniously for as long as it is beneficial to both parties. Additionally, our insurance partners have created a streamlined path to making it easy for GUESTs to have a Workers Compensation policy in place before they go on site, protecting you in the case of any members of your team getting injured while on the premises.
Insurance is complicated and oftentimes can be a frustrating process, which is why we’ve made this as simple and easy as possible. We’ll not only handle the setting up of the necessary policies through our established insurance partners. But in keeping with our goal of no GUEST having to come out-of-pocket for start-up costs of any kind, we will also front whatever initial costs are associated with getting the policies in place. This makes for a quick and painless process so you can focus on what’s important – delivering great food and great service!
